Bigger isn't always better.

Take Small Matters, Cowichan Valley Arts Council's display of diminutive artworks by local artists.

The event starting Nov. 27 in downtown’s Cowichan Valley Arts Centre offers an array of 2D and 3D pieces measuring not more than three inches in any direction.

CVAC spokeswoman Sandra Greenaway said Small Matters offers creations from paintings to sculpture to jewelry between Nov. 27 and Dec. 9, starting with Thursday’s 4 to 8 p.m. meet-the-artists event.

Regular hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Call 250-746-1633.
