Meddle Art
www.members.shaw.ca/meddleart

Brad's creations are borne of imagination, re-cycled iron and the pleasures of expression. The pieces of old, forgotten and discarded iron have their own story to tell and their history of use. Usefulness begins again with the help of a torch, welder and a desire to explore the positive sides of life.

Wall mounted and free-standing two or three dimensional sculptures made from re-cycled metal.

Gus Galbraith, Sculptor
www.gusgalbraith-sculptor.com

To have a piece of stone on the bench and the sounds of the river in the background must be as close to Nirvana as one can get. The excitement of a project is the fuel of creativity. The stimulation of the highs and lows - disappointments and successes in the creation, is the reward.

Working in the softer stone - alabasters, steatite, soapstone's, allows me to limit the use of power tools. I love the surroundings to be as quiet as possible.

I find it immensely rewarding to release an expressive sculpture from a lifeless piece of stone, or a beautiful vessel from a lump of clay.
