Mirror, mirror

Mirror Image

Get involved! This year the Cowichan Valley Arts Council's Cowichan Catch - a Lively Auction will include art-mirrors made by members.

This is how it works: purchase a mirror from a selection on display in PORTALS - the CVAC Centre for Arts Culture and Heritage during the month of January and the week of Feb 21-28th. Mirror prices range from $20 to $30. First come, first served.

Purchase a mirror. Take it to your studio and recreate the mirror as an art object worth $250. On April 2nd deliver the object d'art to PORTALS to become part of the live auction, Saturday April 28th at the 42nd annual Cowichan Valley Fine Arts Show. Receive a charitable tax receipt for the full value of the object d'art (maximum $250). All proceeds from the sale of the mirror will be used to support CVAC programs.

Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all?
