Economic Reactions Exhibition

CVAC has issued a call for submission to the "Economic Reactions Exhibition". This show will focus upon the economic disparity that the general public exists under.

Economic Reactions Exhibition
The Cowichan Valley Regional Arts Council and the Cowichan Valley Arts Centre invites Canadians of all ages and regions to voice their reactions to the current economic crisis by creating on a Standard Art Trading Card 2.5" x 3.5" or equivalent, a work or works of art in any medium and donating the work to the CVAC's Permanent Art Collection for the Economic Reactions Exhibition.

See your local art supplier for art trading cards.

Exhibition dates: March 19 to April 18, 2009
Cowichan Valley Arts Centre, 2 - 139 Station Street, Duncan
Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Friday, 11 - 5pm Saturday, 11 - 3pm
The CVAC intends to tour this exhibition.
Please supply copyright data with submission.
Entrance fees: $5.00 per work for adults 18-65, $3.00 for students and $1.00 per work for school children and seniors 65+.
Deadline for submissions: 3 p.m. March 14, 2009.
Please deliver or mail all entries with entrance fees, payable to Cowichan Valley Arts Council or CVAC, to the Cowichan Valley Art Centre, 2 -139 Station Street, Duncan, B.C. V9L 1M8.
