The second show of our new Arts Centre at Station Street was entitled "Director's Do". It featured the
work of CVAC's directors who are artists in their own right.
The artwork of John Falkner, Glenn Spicer, Misha Koslovsky, Jeffrey Birkin and Jean Christie
Williams was showcased in the CVAC arts centre at 2 - 139 Station Street from Tuesday, November 18
to Tuesday, November 25.
President Falkner erected a leatherwork installation of organic and sensuous forms made up of leather
end pieces. Vice President Glenn Spicer shared numerous sculptural works in mediums ranging from
stone to brass and included illuminated elements. Misha Koslovsky - Secretary Treasurer mounted an
installation work which illustrated the process of theatre design. Director Jeffrey Birkin included four
paintings from his "At the Farm" series based on a 1920's cabin. Director Jean Christie Williams shared
several of her photo based works.
Due to popular demand, the show was held over and accompanied the following "Small Matters"
exhibit.
