Information about the Cowichan Valley Arts Centre

The Cowichan Valley Arts Centre provides a downtown Duncan Gallery location at 2-139 Station Street, in the heart of the art and business district of Duncan, Vancouver Island, B.C.

Two galleries, a kitchen and bathrooms are available. Individuals or groups who are or will become members are cordially invited to submit exhibition proposals to the Cowichan Valley Art Centre exhibition committee. The committee will jury proposals by peer assessment.

The committee accepts proposals under three contract arrangements:
1 - Gallery rental by exhibitor
2 - Exhibition and sale where gallery commissions are charged
3 - Public exhibition where gallery fees are paid to the exhibition.

The Cowichan Valley Arts Council (CVAC) Newsletter is now published within the Valley Voice, a free publication that is widely available at stores and libraries throughout the region. .

Member submissions for Newsletters should be received in the CVAC office by e-mail one week prior to month end for the following issue.
