The Four Seasons: Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter

SPRING:
Spring is the Season when the cold winter's snow starts to disappear.
It's when the trees sprout their leaves and the flowers break up out of the ground.
Rebecca Barnard
Artist: Rebecca Barnard
It's when the birds return from the deep warm south and begin to build their homes to live there until the winter.

SUMMER:
Summer is the season of warm clear nights.
It's when all of the trees look like tall green umbrellas.
It's the season of picnics, camping and swimming.
It's a season of fresh vegetables and fruit.
It's when the wild life is out and about frolicking in the fields and meadows.

FALL:
Fall is the season of different beautiful colours in the forest.
Fall is the season of harvesting and barn building.
Fall is the season of all Hollows eve.
Fall is the season when the wild life gathers and stores there summer bounties.
Fall is when the birds return to the far deep warm south.

WINTER:
Winter is the season of cold crisp days and nights.
Winter is a quiet time of the year when the wild life is asleep for the season.
Winter is the season of snowmen and skating on frozen ponds.
Winter is the season of horse drawn sleigh rides.
Winter is the season of Reindeer and Saint Nick. Winter is the season of brightly decorated houses with lights and decorations.
Winter is the season when families get together in front of roaring fireplaces.
