Super-light aircraft
lands on my leg
in sunshine
this afternoon
my skin the runway
for its throbbing engine
the cockpit head's
headlamp eyes
alerted, swivel,
lean red fuselage
shuddering slightly,
six slender legs supporting,
rudder oscillating,
biplane filigree wings
shimmer like lace in vibration
dragonfly takes off.
